Our cabins are located on forested sites on the eastern shore of the Alcona pond floodwaters. Cabins are furnished with bunk beds, a table and benches. Outside there is a picnic table and fire pits. You will need to bring your own bedding and outside grill. The cabins have no electricity and cooking is not permitted inside. Pit privies are nearby. Water can be obtained at the filling stations or hand pumps throughout the park. Pets are not allowed at the cabin sites. A pavilion with electrical service is available for rent near the Camping Cabins. Ice and campfire wood is available at the campground office. Beautiful sunsets can be observed from these sites. Check in 3:00 PM and out time is 12:00 Noon. Cabins rent for $35.00 (Small), $40.00 (Medium), and $45.00 (Large) per night. Please contact us if you have any questions. (989) 735-3881 or E-Mail. The river provides quality fishing of Walleye, Pike, Perch, Bass and Trout. Canoeing, boating, swimming, fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing are all popular activities for visitors. The AuSable may just be the finest brown trout fly fishing east of the Rockies. If that were not enough reason to visit the river, the AuSable is also one of the best canoeing rivers in the Midwest. Canoe & Kayak Rentals are located in Glennie and Mio. Bait & Tackle Shops are located in Curtisville and Glennie.
